Project Overview: For IFA 2016 in Berlin, I developed an immersive VR experience for Grundig to showcase their new audio speaker. This project, commissioned by MadHat GmbH, offered visitors a unique and engaging way to interact with different sound environments, highlighting the versatility and quality of the Grundig speaker.

Varied Sound Environments: The VR experience featured a series of distinct sound environments, each designed to showcase the speaker’s capabilities in different settings. Visitors could immerse themselves in a rock concert, feeling the pulsating energy of the music; a classical concert where they interacted with floating musical notes; a cozy living room setting for a more intimate audio experience; and a graffiti station where they could virtually paint a wall, all while experiencing the speaker’s sound quality in these varied contexts.

Interactive and Fun Design: The design of each environment was focused on interactivity and fun, encouraging visitors to actively engage with the speaker and its features. This approach made the experience not just a demonstration of the product, but an entertaining and memorable event for participants.

VR Technology and Impact: In 2016, VR was still a relatively new technology to many consumers. The Grundig VR experience leveraged this novelty, providing an innovative and captivating way for visitors to interact with the audio speaker. The use of VR technology added a layer of excitement and engagement, significantly enhancing the product showcase.
